These Boots....UHMM Sneakers were Made for Walking


"You have to start somewhere!" This was the pep talk I had to give myself as I began to think of my fitness goals for 2020. I had no desire to do anything but put on my sneakers, lace them up, and get to walking. I don't want to be one of the New Year's Resolution group that gives up after a few weeks. I don't want to buy a club membership, sign up for a personal trainer, or join a class. I am not downplaying those that do. I just know from my track record that setting small attainable goals will get me to my main goal. For now I just need to get moving! I need to hit my 10,000 steps a day. Once I get this down, I can build on my fitness goals. Seriously I need there to be a "Couch to 10,000 Steps A Day" app I can download on my phone. I will have to settle for my smart watch to keep my daily step count. 30 days - 10,000 steps!? I got this! :) I look forward to letting you know how the journey goes and what I will add to my fitness regime when I meet this first goal.
